WAYF
The Danish Identity Federation for Research and Education
WAYF - Where Are You From is Denmark's identity federation for research and education. We enable digital identities issued by academic institutions to be used outside of the institution's own login systems.
WAYF is a digital infrastructure connecting institutional user databases and login systems with external web services. With WAYF, you login at your academic institution in order to gain access to a restricted web service outside of the institution's own login system. WAYF is also the federation for the Háskóli Íslands (The University of Iceland), for the university and higher education institutions on the Faroe Islands, and for the University of Greenland.
NORDUnet provides safe and stable operation of WAYF's central servers and systems.

GNOMIS
In 2003-2005, this concrete saint, weighing 7.8 kg, was brought to every Greater Nordic Middleware Symposium (GMOMIS) and handed over to the next meeting organizer. At the time, the limit for hand luggage was 8 kg, which was perfect if there was a need for very little else in the cabin bag.
The goal of the GNOMIS was information exchange and investigate possible collaboration on user authentication between organizations.
Today, other initiatives have overtaken these tasks, and the GNOMIS saint rests in Norway.
